Who we are

Nature YETU is a grassroots eco-feminist collective dedicated to the regeneration of both African women and the land. We recognize that the oppression of women and the destruction of nature are deeply connected—and so are the solutions.

Our work blends climate education, community action, and creative expression. From hosting film screenings and guest talks, to organizing community gardens and clean-ups, to using the arts as a tool for advocacy, we create spaces where young women can learn, lead, and thrive.

Guided by the principles of the Charter for African Feminists, our vision is to nurture a generation of climate-resilient earth stewards—young women who can stand boldly for themselves, their communities, and the environment we all depend on.
